The Standout - TA35+ Jarrah
Manuka established the category · The data tells the next chapter
The Jarrah tree flowers for two months, once every two years.
Smooth caramel. Silky, slow-moving.
Cold-extracted, unblended, batch-numbered.
From 150-year-old trees in a forest that has never been farmed, this single-origin honey is independently tested to TA35+ — a phenol equivalence of 53.8, confirmed by ALS New Zealand, the same laboratory that certifies Manuka.
Why the label says TA35+ and the report says 53.8
The phenol equivalence assay compares a honey sample against a standard curve of phenol concentrations. That curve ends at 35. Batch CL515012435 returned a reading of 53.8 at ALS New Zealand, an IANZ ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab — beyond the point at which the scale can certify a value.
We label TA35+ because that is the highest figure the method validates.
We publish 53.8 because that is what the laboratory read.
The number on the jar is the number a laboratory will stand behind.
