Total Activity (TA) is a measure of a honey’s antimicrobial potency, expressed as phenol equivalence. A TA35+ rating means the honey has an antimicrobial effect equivalent to a 35% phenol solution. The current Jarrah TA35+ batch tests at a phenol equivalence of 53.8 — one of the highest independently confirmed results in raw honey.
